Reflection: Shared writing or sometimes called- interactive writing was an area of literacy that I wanted to implement in my classroom. This inquiry provided me with an opportunity to read professional articles and apply my learning within my own classroom. This process included trial/error, determination, as well as an sense of accomplishment. I continue to use interactive writing in my classroom today and am seeing great results.

"Curriculum and standards must first connect with the lives and spirits of our children if we’re to have any lasting success. Unless we reach into our students’ hearts, we have no entry into their minds." Regie Routman
